Mizuno MP-62™ irons 3-PW

Mizuno MP-62 irons 3-PW
Model Reviewed:
MP-62. 3-PW

Details: Forged irons, standard lie with additonal 0.25inch from standard length.

Summary:
The Mizuno MP-62 irons have excellent aesthetics and workability aspects, which were achieved  through terrific engineering design. Once I saw the design was a cross between the MP-32 and the MP-30, I knew I had to have these. I have the MP-32 and like them, but these seem to be slightly more forgiving.

Pros: Like all Mizuno's, the MP-62 is a very smooth club and workable club. The irons have a great feel with a moderately forgiving aspects if the ball wasn't struck spot on. Two key aspect s of the MP-62  iron is the nice high trajectory and good spin found in every stroke played.  I have had about 10 games with the MP-62 irons and so far I've have had few bad shots. Every shot seems to go where I want  it to go. The long irons are easy to hit draws  and fades from a ground lie, which i think is due to a lie angle is slightly flatter than standard. The short irons are great and are pin point accurate.
Cons: So far I've only really hit a couple of unforgiving shots with these clubs. The bad shots were mainly due to when I was trying to fade the ball. The ball tended to shot of the club face more than i expected and hence landed further than expected, but while still inducing a fade of the ball.

Customer Service and Cost:
I purchased my clubs from a golf shop in Chicago USA off eBay. I picked them up for AUS $800, with stiff shafts and custom grips and length. The customer service was brilliant and i hope to do business with them again.
